Away in a Manger

I've always loved manger scenes. When I was little, my job was to set up the manger scene on our hutch. It was so exciting every year to unwrap each piece as I took it out of the box, anxiously trying to find the baby Jesus. Every morning when I woke up, I liked turning on the light in the manger scene stable and kissing the baby Jesus.

This year it's fun to pass on that excitement to Maggie. Last Christmas "Baby Girl" received a Fisher Price Little People manger scene, which we set up yesterday. Her favorite pieces so far are the sheep and the baby Jesus.
