Fun at One

Maggie had a fun birthday yesterday! She woke up to homemade pancakes and presents.

Then we went to Southpoint Mall in Durham, where she got to pick out a book and ride the escalator at the bookstore.

One of her favorite parts of the day was going to Build-a-Bear Workshop. I thought she'd want to make a bear or dog, but she went crazy over the bunny, as you can see in this video. This is just a small sample of the excited squealing she did.

After lunch at the mall, we took a walk in Duke Gardens. Only the daffodils and camellias were blooming.

Maggie ended the day with a visit from Grandma and Granddaddy, a phone call from Memo & Pa (and more friends & family), more presents, and her first taste of cake!
