A Job Well Done

As of tomorrow, both of my parents will be retired! They're trading in their day jobs to be full-time grandparents.

Andi, Zeke, and Maggie visit Grandma at work in early June. She worked as school nurse at Greenwood Elementary (where my dad, my brother, and I all went to school) for 21 years, following her career as a public health nurse before my brother and I were born.

Granddaddy celebrates his 62nd birthday with the grandkids. Today is his last day of his 40-year career, 37 of those years at Goodyear.

We're proud of both of them for all they've provided and taught us and happy that they can enjoy this next phase of life together.
