No Pain, No Gain

Maggie had her two-month check-up today. She weighed in at 11 pounds 14 ounces (50th percentile) and measured 24 inches long (75th percentile). Then came the unpleasant part of the appointment . . . her immunizations! I held both of her hands while she received her shots, and we both cried. It was pitiful, but luckily Brendon was there for moral support. With a lot of TLC and some nourishment, she calmed down and was happy by the time we got to the van. She fell asleep on the way home and napped for a while when we got back. Notice her little band-aids on her legs:

The rest of the day she seemed very happy and content! One set of shots down, many more to go . . .
