1 Year, 1 Month

Today I took Maggie outside for a photo shoot on her 13 month birthday. In keeping with all the pollen, yellow was the theme. This quilt was given to Brendon as a baby and was made by a friend of his great-grandmother's.

Maggie thinks she's a cowgirl on a horse:

Maggie's growing and changing every day. She cruises quickly and has started letting go and standing alone briefly. For a month or two she's been climbing our entire staircase! Needless to say, we've been busy baby-proofing! She babbles all the time and has developed a little vocabulary: Mama, Dada, Biscuit, milk, more, "nana" (banana), snack, uh-oh, ball, book, and up. Maggie loves music and for several months has been making the motions for "Pat-a-Cake", "If You're Happy and You Know It", and "Itsy Bitsy Spider". She now loves singing "row, row" in "Row, Row, Row Your Boat". Perhaps her cutest "trick" is blowing kisses, complete with "muah!" A close second is the way she prays and blesses the food- more on that in a later post! Our little girl is growing up!
