I had the biggest, best surprise today: Maggie started walking independently! All afternoon while we were playing, she kept standing up and sitting down. It was almost like she was working on her balance. Then she just took off walking! I thought she would just take one, maybe two, steps, but she took 4 steps! Luckily, Brendon was working from home today. I yelled for him to come see it. He grabbed the video camera and captured her next few walks on camera. I was truly overwhelmed with emotion watching her walk. She has been working on walking for so long, and she finally did it! You can watch the video below to see Maggie in action.
