My Chiquita

Maggie has loved bananas from a young age and eats them daily. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to get her picture taken for free at the Chiquita Banana booth at the State Fair.


Now I call Maggie my "chiquita", which comes from the Spanish word meaning "small". She already knows another Spanish word. From the few times Maggie has watched "Dora the Explorer", she has learned the word "hola". It's so cute to see this little white girl saying "hola!"
