Fourth Fun

Our Fourth of July was centered around three things: family, food, and air conditioning!  No beach, lake, or fireworks for us on what turned out to be a scorcher (and then concluded with rain).  We met Memo and Pa for lunch at Mellow Mushroom in Aberdeen.  Maggie wore the patriotic dress that Memo gave her.

Then we went to Grandma and Granddaddy's for supper: steak, fresh veggies from the garden, and fruit pizza (made by Maggie!).

Throughout the day Maggie kept asking everyone, "Do you know what day it is?  July 4th- America's birthday!"
