Kid Culture

This spring and summer we've taken advantage of several cultural opportunities.  In April we attended the Grand Opening of the new part of the NC Museum of Natural Sciences.  The wife of one of Brendon's best friends is a paleontologist there, so we were able to get VIP tickets (which got us some yummy free food!). 

A few weeks ago we went to Kidzu Children's Museum in Chapel Hill.  Maggie enjoyed the art center and the ball ramps the best:

We've also seen two of Maggie's favorite plays recently at local schools.  First, we saw "Cinderella" and even got to meet her afterwards (cheaper than Disney World!):

Next, we saw "The Wizard of Oz" at the elementary school I attended.  Maggie absolutely loves both of these movies/plays.  She can recite lines and act out whole scenes from each.  In fact, as I type this, she's watching "Cinderella" and copying every move Cinderella makes!
