It's hard to believe that my "baby" turns 18 months old today! A year ago today, Maggie started solids, and now she eats everything in sight! Just six months ago, she was scared to swing, and now she can't get enough. Four months ago, she was crawling, and now she's running. I've lost track of all of her words, but it's well over 150.
Maggie's favorite things now are playing outside, chasing Biscuit, silly rhyming words, trying to sing the ABCs, helping me cook (as long as it doesn't involve the mixer!), and anything that involves the moon! Just this week she noticed the moon in the daytime sky. She ran towards the backyard fence, yelling, "Hey, moon!" and wanting me to pick her up so she could reach the moon!
There are several reasons there is no "formal" 18 month picture of Maggie yet:
1. She doesn't sit still.
2. She doesn't like having her clothes changed.
3. She's a toddler, which means she gets a lot of bumps and bruises. She had a scrape on her head that just went away today, delaying our trip to the photo studio.
So, here are some informal pictures of Maggie before bedtime tonight in her new skeleton pajamas:
