Maggie has been a little comedian today, despite not taking a nap! This morning when she woke up, she said, "I hear something." I told her that I didn't hear anything. She responded, "It's a butterfly!"
Later when shown a picture of the Statue of Liberty from our trip, Maggie said that it was Jesus! I thought it was very intuitive of her. Who else has she seen that wears a long gown like that?
As the day progressed, Maggie started engaging in feats of strength! I was making supper, and I heard her down the hallway saying, "Weeeee! This is fun!" I found her standing on the bottom rung of the swinging hallway baby gate, riding it back and forth, and powering it with her foot, like a scooter! I doubt she took my scolding seriously, as I was trying to suppress my laughter. Wish I'd had a video of that sight!
Maggie ate very little lunch or supper today, but she had plenty of energy! While we were eating supper, she grabbed the broom and started sweeping. She told me, "Get out of my way- I'm cleaning!" I promise I've never said that before. When I thought it couldn't get any cuter, Maggie started doing the limbo under the broom! She said, "Look, Mama, Maggie limbo!"
A lot of days I feel like I'm doing the limbo, bending over backwards to keep Maggie happy and satisfied. Today, though, she's been the life of the party!

Wish I could see "Little Miss Personality Plus" in action. I know you are having a lot of fun with her. She will be 16 in no time at all.
