Maggie has had a busy day! It started off with a play date with her friend Eva, and then we went to my cousin's wedding in Winston-Salem this afternoon. Even without a nap today, Maggie was perfect during the ceremony and had a blast dancing at the reception!
On the way home tonight, we played a DVD for her to watch in the van, hoping she'd fall asleep. Around 9:30 she was still wide awake! She was watching a preview for the "Bambi" movie. I wasn't paying too much attention to it, but then she turned to me and said, "I don't want them to take my mama!" (as she'd seen happen to Bambi's mama) I said, "No one is going to take your mama." She said, "Eva?" I told her, "No, not Eva". "Cecil?", she asked. "No, not Cecil," I told her. Then she said, "I'll take you, Mama!" She thought some more and said, "I'll take you, too, Daddy!" I told her that I was glad she chose us- we're lucky parents!
